Mimicsurg Surgical Matrix products are medical devices engineered using MimiClon’s proprietary UBM™ (Urinary Bladder Matrix) technology and are intended to reinforce soft tissue where weakness exists.
The Mimicsurg extracellular matrix scaffold has been shown to facilitate the body’s ability to remodel site-appropriate functional tissue1 where scarring would be expected. Mimicsurg Surgical devices are appropriate for a range of surgical procedures including various types of hernia repair.
